Dana

Following a 2,500 year old Buddhist tradition, meditation teachings are considered priceless and so offered freely. We practice dana, or generosity, by offering a donation for these teachings. Dana is not a payment for goods or services, but comes from the heart. Your generosity is a voluntary contribution that supports not only the teachers, but also the Sangha, the larger community of the Dharma and your own practice.  Your dana is a support for my livelihood and the continuation of dharma study so that I am able to share Dana with my teachers.

When considering Dana you may give thought to a few things:

  • What do these teachings and practices mean to you?  How have they affected your life?
  • Also consider your financial situation and give in a way that does not cause harm to you or result in regret.
  • This is a heart practice.  In reflecting on this, you may place your hand on your heart, draw your awareness inward, take your time.

If you’re able to make a donation for the teachings you received, please send an e-transfer:
