Following a 2,500 year old Buddhist tradition, meditation teachings are considered priceless and so offered freely. We practice dana, or generosity, by offering a donation for these teachings. Dana is not a payment for goods or services, but comes from the heart. Your generosity is a voluntary contribution that supports not only the teachers, but also the Sangha, the larger community of the Dharma and your own practice. Your dana is a support for my livelihood and the continuation of dharma study so that I am able to share Dana with my teachers.
When considering Dana you may give thought to a few things:
- What do these teachings and practices mean to you? How have they affected your life?
- Also consider your financial situation and give in a way that does not cause harm to you or result in regret.
- This is a heart practice. In reflecting on this, you may place your hand on your heart, draw your awareness inward, take your time.
If you’re able to make a donation for the teachings you received, please send an e-transfer:

I am grateful to reside in Guelph with its rich indigenous history. Between the Lakes Treaty No. 3 Territory which was signed between the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Crown in 1792. Home to the Anishinaabe, Attawandaron, Haudenosaunee and Metis peoples to the present day. Respecting the ancestral and traditional territories and mindful of our collective role as stewards of the land; and to build awareness of present-day Indigenous culture in our community.
